IT IS Malaysia's initial immature library. But half of a 40m ringgit ($ 12.9m) of a cost of a Kota Kinabalu informal living room has come from a private company, a Lahad Datu Water Supply Sendirian Berhad.

It is also a initial such building saved by a private sector, according to Deputy Chief Minister Yahya Hussin who launched it at a groundbreaking rite in Tanjung Aru today.
"This is a very good team-work between a private zone as well as a government," he said. The living room is expected to be ready by 2015.

Like a Sabah art gallery, a living room will turn to solar energy, collect sleet water as well as use materials that will not supplement to carbon dioxide glimmer to keep global warming in check.

Steven Tan, Managing Director of Lahad Datu Water Supply Sendirian Berhad, says a funding is part of his company's corporate amicable responsibility. (Insight Sabah)
