KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 5 Wedding invitation bearing hadiths as well as Quranic verses can bluster a sanctification of Islam if they are improperly disposed, a Islamic Development Department (Jakim) pronounced today.
"Holy words in Islam such as 'Bismillah' as well as 'Assalamualaikum' cannot simply be used since there is concern they may be abused as well as placed in improper places," Jakim director-general Datuk Othman Mustapha was quoted as saying currently by Bernama.
"If it's for a sake of reminding, only essay its meaning would be sufficient," he added.
When contacted, Kanda & Dinda Wedding Cards owners Mohd Natasha Md Nasir pronounced he regularly advised business against printing holy words like "Bismillah".
"We don't inspire business who want to imitation in 'Assalamualaikum' in Jawi script; instead, we suggest them to imitation it in roman script," he told Bernama today.
