'Does Dr M want probe to cover Abdullah, too?'

Hours after former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad insisted which any investigation in to monetary scandals during his tenure shouldcover 'all Tuns', DAP parliamentary personality Lim Kit Siang has questions if Abdullah Ahmad Badawi should be probed as well.

In a statement, Lim described Mahathir's make a difference as a 'positive' response to his proposal for a full review in to a detriment of open supports due to monetary scandals during Mahathir's 22 years in office.

"I will validate Mahathir's further defining a range as well as extent of a investigation in to a RM100 billion waste caused by a monetary scandals when he was budding minister.

"The alternative Tun we can consider of is Tun Daim Zainuddin, who was Mahathir's monetary apportion twice as well as played a key role in many of a monetary scandals in a Mahathir era.

"Are there any alternative Tuns who should be investigated in a full review as well as accounting in to a waste caused by a monetary scandals in Mahathir's era?" Lim asked.

At an event this morning, Mahathir responded to Lim's call by saying which "all a Tuns as well as their sons as well as grandsons" should be audited.

"F rom media reports, it would crop up which one alternative Tun who Mahathir is referring to (and) who should be investigated is his successor, Abdullah," said Lim.

"It is for Mahathir to make clear whether he also wants a full! review as well as accounting in to monetary waste which occurred during Abdullah's five-year premiership."
