KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 Datuk Seri Mahmud Abu Bekir Abdul Taib has successfully appointed Syarie counsel Datuk Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar to paint him in his divorce settlement proceedings, Bernama Online reported today.

Shahnaz Abdul Majid, a former mother of a Sarawak arch ministers son, is demanding RM100 million as mutaah (Islamic accommodating payment) following their recent divorce.
