Sebenarnya isu 6% cukai untuk caj prabayar telah lama diperbincangkan. Tidak ada mana-mana pihak pun yang bersetuju untuk kenaikan tersebut kecuali provider dan beberapa kerat manusia dalam kerajaan yang bersungguh-sungguh memberikan alasan tentang kewajaran kenaikan berkenaan.
Apabila pengumuman tentang kenaikan berkenaan dibuat dengan bangganya dengan alasan 'LEBIH KOMPETETIF', sebenarnya
