Singapore Presidential Election 2011 : Dr Tony Tan wins

Dr Tony Tan was spoken a leader of Singapores presidential election early Sunday sunrise after a recount gave him a razor-thin margin. Dr Tony won a sum of 744,397 votes. This was 35.19 per cent of a sum votes cast. He won by a domain of 7,269 votes, or 0.34 per cent of a current votes.
His closest contender was Dr Tan Cheng Bock, who won 737,128 votes, or 34.85 per cent of a votes cast. Mr Tan Jee Say secured 529,732 votes, or 25.04 per cent of a current votes.
Mr Tan Kin Lian performed 103,931 votes, or 4.91 per cent of a current votes. He will pledge a $48,000 deposit.There were 37,826 deserted votes. A sum of 2,153,014 votes were cast.
In a debate to his supporters, a President-elect thanked his wife Mary as well as his family, as well as his debate group as well as supporters.
